Mulch film
The main contaminant in agricultural films is mud and sand, with a content as high as 40-70%. Incorporating European film recycling concepts with our company's years of experience in waste plastic recycling, Kitech Machinery has developed a specialized recycling and washing production line for agricultural films with high mud and sand content. After the discarded films are collected, they must first undergo preliminary treatment and cutting to transform large rolls or bundles of waste film into small pieces. These pieces are then put into a sand removal machine for de-sanding treatment. Excessive mud and sand content can shorten the life of the knives in the subsequent shredders or crushers and affect the quality of cleaning. After de-sanding, the film is further processed in a shredder for fine shredding, followed by multiple stages of floating and friction washing to remove the remaining mud and sand. After cleaning, the film material ultimately enters a squeezing machine for de-watering. The final removal rate of mud and sand is over 99%, and the moisture content of the de-watered material is below 5%, which can then be directly pelletized, greatly improving the efficiency of pelletizing and the quality of the final material.
